CBD Science's Alta-California Cannabis Medical Extracts (CBME's) are highly standardized medicinal products composed of extracts from selected strains of cannabis plants cultivated employing "Safe Cannabis" practices.

The total plant is extracted using CBD Science's patent pending organic extraction process. CBD Science utilizes Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to produce a botanical drug substance (BDS) with controlled reproducibility batch to batch.

THC andCBDcomprise approximately 70% (w/w) of the total BDS, with minor cannabinoids (5-6%), terpenoids (6-7%, most GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe)), sterols (6%), triglycerides, alkanes, squalene, tocopherol, carotenoids and other minor components (also GRAS) derived from the plant material.

The BDS can be delivered in two methods. The 1 ml  dropper allows the BDS to be taken digestively or sublinqually. In addition to the cannabinoid (THC/CBD) contents specified on each bottle, the other components are ethanol, honey, botanical extracts and spring water.
